Good for Life, an Australian company is to introduce solar pumping technology in Ethiopia.
The technology is believed to make Ethiopian farmers beneficiaries by increasing their agricultural productivity.
Director of the company, Adam Elson told EBC that with the country’s huge underground water potential, the technology is ideal to harness the agriculture sector.
The director also said the solar pumping can create a synergy with the country’s green economy policy.
The company is currently discussing with the State of Oromia on ways to implement the technology.
