President Mulatu Teshome (Phd) met his counterpart Polish President Andrzej Duda during his state visit to Ethiopia aimed at drumming up business with Africa.
During their meeting President Mulatu pointed out that trade between the two nations is currently worth around USD 36 million which, he said, is well below potential. Duda agreed, adding that Poland is a big market in Europe, as is Ethiopia in Africa.
He voiced hope that trade between the two countries would increase to hundreds of millions of dollars. Duda visited a plant operated by Polish tractor manufacturer Ursus in Ethiopia, and encouraged more companies to invest in Africa.
