Endalikachew Semie, Secretary General of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations (ECCSA), received five members of Italian delegation and discussed on bilateral and partnership issues.The delegation requested ECCSA to facilitate the establishment of a cross boarder Italian chamber of commerce here in Ethiopia, in which both the Italian and Ethiopian businesses would be members.
The delegation was also interested in forming partnership with Ethiopians to commence cable buses for transportation in Addis Ababa.
Endalikachew said that ECCSA is ready to work according to its law and proclamation and to collaborate with the Italian counterpart for mutual benefit of the two countries.
The Secretary General also stated that the Italians can open a registered branch office in Ethiopia which represents the Italian National Chamber of Commerce or Ethio-Italian Business Council as an option.
The two sides agreed that the business details of the projects’ proposals should be sent to ECCSA for further discussion, facilitation and decision.
