The largest supplier of automotive spare parts, food processing machinery and household products, the German based company, Bosch, has expressed interest to invest in Ethiopia following talks with Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom here yesterday.
Dr. Tedros had talks with Bosch Africa North of the Equator General Manager Jean Mark Affuret focusing on business and investment opportunities in the country.
Briefing journalists, Dr. Tedros said that the fast growing economy of the country, along with its conducive investment climate, has been attracting not only small companies but also multi-national ones such Bosch.
“Bosch is well known and a large company with 360,000 employees and multi-million capital and we have briefed them on investment opportunities in the country.”
Company General Manager said that his company is keen to do business in Ethiopia as the country is registering consecutive double digit economic growth.
He said Ethiopia has a young population and many business opportunities, hence, his company is assessing lucrative market and will be investing in the country in the near future.
“The Minister gave us an important information about the country’s future investment policy and development plans. And we are interested to invest in the country that will be the future African investment hub.”
