Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation rate has declined to 10.0 percent in November from 11.8% in October, Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) reported.
When compared to the month of October, inflation rate for November decreased by 1.8%, a statement the Central Statistical Agency (CSA) sent to FBC indicates. Food inflation rate has declined by 4.7% when compared to October, as a result of a fall in prices of cereals, Pulses, vegetables and spices (specially Pepper).
Nevertheless, the non-food inflation rate has shown 8.4% increase because of the price rise in clothing and footwear, construction materials, firewood and household goods and furnishings.
