Delegation team from Ethiopia attended African Investments and Business Forum held in Algiers, Algeria. The forum was held from December 3 to 5, 2016 under the theme of “Towards a new dynamic”.
The forum was aimed at stimulating inter-African trade, fast-track continental integration and promoting human capital development.
The event was attended by representatives from businesses and governments in Africa.
Delegates from Ethiopia presented Ethiopia’s achievements in the field of agribusiness. They also explained the current initiative by the government in collaboration with UNIDO to develop agro-industrial parks. The parks are aimed at utilizing the potential of the agricultural sector and accelerating the development of agriculture sector.
